Thammary Brenda Vhiriri is a board member of Auditor-General Office and ZB Bank, she is an experienced legal practitioner, trained and certified in alternative conflict resolution skills, legislative drafting; commercial transactions with special legal expertise in mining, and land issue. Before joining the private sector, she has worked with government for over 10 years at director level namely Ministry of Mines and Mining Development and Zimbabwe Land Commission.
She represented government on international platforms such as the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme; African Diamond Producers Association; and drafted the Mines and Minerals Act Amendment Bill and contributed into the upcoming land policy and land tenure reviews. During her tenure she acquired a wealth of experience in alternative dispute resolution mechanisms to settle disputes among farmers; farmer-miner; miners; human-wildlife conflict and various competing land use conflicts. She has a Law Degree (LLBS); Master’s Degree in Public Administration and is concluding a Master’s Degree in Corporate Law.
